Matthew 9:20-22 (KJV)
20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an
issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee
whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
Do you remember the times, when you
wanted something and you would strategize to figure out a way to get it? You
took risk, you did not worry about the cost, and you just pursued the thing you
wanted By Any Means Necessary. This same energy needs
to be applied if we are to be whole in Christ.
The woman with the issue of
blood put everything on the line, she was in a
desperate state. She was poor, ostracized, and
incurable according to the doctors of that day. It did not matter what one said
or thought about her, she was focused on achieving her Goal, to touch his
garment, By Any Means Necessary. This woman had faith
to believe that all her suffering would be over if she could get to the master
and from a touch she would be healed and made whole.
As with the woman with the
issue of blood, we need to be in pursuit of Christ, BY ANY MEANS
NECESSARY. It is an awesome thing to note that no matter where we
are Jesus is approachable in any circumstance.
Are you willing to risk everything?
Exercise your faith and let
Jesus extend his healing hands and redemptive power to you. If you act he will
say “thy faith has made you whole.” Jesus honors faith.
Prayer
Thank you you father for accepting me as your daughter. Lord I ask in your name today that you
would extend your touch to me so that I may be whole. Lord I desire more of
you. Keep me in your perfect will so that I may continue to press forward,
walking in the knowledge of you. I know Lord that my circumstance does not
dictate my future. I receive the covering of grace in your name,
AMEN
